SPOTLIGHT CLASSES 2018/2019

MUSICAL THEATRE

Musical theatre classes incorporate acting, vocal singing, and choreography. In-class work includes improving character portrayal, diction, singing, movement and choreography. Performers will learn to emote appropriately for various songs, themes and characters.

Theatre games and improvisation are part of each class to encourage spontaneity and creativity. Students will learn audition skills while preparing for show casting and placed in the areas they can best contribute to the production for their overall learning. Competition opportunities are available for performers in musical theatre and song and dance.
